I fucken love powerpig's photography.
I'd be impressed if anyone managed to recognise this without the title.
Ansel Adams is probably my favourite photographer of all time, and this is one of my favourite photos of his. His photos don't exactly jump out as being suitable for Lego reinterpretation, but I'll be dammed if I'm not going to give it a go.
"Moon and Half Dome" was taken by Adams in 1960 in Yosemite national park, California.

This was the only shot where I was happy with the shadow. I dismantled the setup to exchange the slighty chewed up bricks for better ones, but couldn't get the same effect again. I shall just pretend that the rough bricks are meant to be weathered rock.

"In the comic books Barbara Gordan's career as Batgirl ended when her spine was critically injured by the Joker. Using her skills and training as a librarian she developed a new identity to fight crime: Oracle, the online information source for the superhero community.
This one-of-a-kind custom-made action figure was created by my wife. The head, hands, and shoes were taken from other figures and repainted. She sculpted and painted the sweatshirt and jeans. I made the glasses out of wire. The wheelchair, which she also repainted, is an accessory originally belonging to a wrestling figure. The figure is 4.75 inches tall.
